Hi everyone! I know I'm a few days late, but I've been out of town with my boyfriends family to spend the holiday weekend with his family! I just wanted to do a quick post on my Easter mani, well manis!
First up I really wanted to test out the two China Glaze polishes that I picked up last week. They are Rose Among Thorns and Re-fresh Mint. Rose Among Thorns was REALLY REALLY hard to capture with my camera. It either showed up way too bright and washed out or too red. Re-fresh Mint was also trying to be difficult, but I finally managed to get a good picture. Sadly, ONE good picture is all I was able to get before I got frustrated and said forget it.
The dots on my ring finger were done with my dotting tools and Re-Fresh Mint. They definitely look pink and if I didn't know which color I had used I probably would think that the dots are pink, not minty! Over the top of all my nails I used one coat of Spoiled Shaken Snow Globe. I wore this on Friday and Saturday before Easter just hanging out with some friends :)
Next up, is my mani that I wore on the actual day of Easter. My boyfriend's family (as well as mine) live about two hours away so we made the trip over there to spend the day with his HUGE family. I love his family so, so much! The first time I met anyone, I met the ENTIRE family on Christmas two weeks after we started dating and I was a nervous wreck, but they were so accepting and loving! I couldn't ask for a better second family! Totally was not polish related, but you'll be hearing A LOT more about him & our families in the coming future :)
For this mani, I used (from thumb to pinky) Ulta Cream of the Crop, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mint Sorbet, Sinful Colors Cinderella, OPI Pink Friday, and China Glaze Sweet Hook. For the white designs I used Sally Hansen XtremeWear White On and the glitter on the thumb and pinky nails is L.A. Colors Sparkling Diamonds. I'm absolutely obsessed with pastel colors & for this holiday I figured this mani would be PERFECT!
